Thieves of Fortress Badabaskor

If you want a copy of the first product I was a solo author on. Thieves of Fortress Badabaskor is only $2 at Paizo. It is for D&D 3.5. I kept just about everything in the original and fleshed out the details so it made a little more sense ... sorta of.

The top serves as a great "evil" town for a setting, and the bottom is a small but deadly dungeon. Even have as Stephen Colbert in one room.

I am pretty proud of the module, although I wound up despising the fussiness of the 3.X stat block. Thank goodness for DM Genie which bailed my ass out in making stat blocks.

Also thanks to Tim Shorts of Gothridge Manor for helping with the edits. Make sure you get Manor #8 when it is released.

What is Goodman Games up too? A DCC RPG?

At the OrgeCave I noticed that Allan playtested a new RPG from Goodman Games in this article.

Even with my association with Goodman Games I know nothing about this and the details are few. But it appears that a Dungeon Crawl Classic RPG a retro-clone is in the works.

Whatever happens it looks like interesting times are ahead as another major publisher (after KenzerCo & Hackmaster Basic) is looking back at the hobby's roots to see what they can do differently rather than following Wizard's lead.

A note from Goodman Games

Joseph Goodman from Goodman Games has given me my big break with Points of Light and I really appreciate this. So when he asks for help publicizing something I am more than glad to return the favor.

I plan to pick up a couple of DCCs and notably the two biggies Castle White Rock and The Known Realms. At $5 a piece that is a good deal. Considering that most of my gaming is on-line using a virtual table top (Fantasy Grounds) I might actually get some use out of White Rock.

I am always a sucker for reading about another campaign world. It isn't enough that I am a walking encyclopedia on our own planet's history I have to thrown in two dozen more even if they are imaginary.
