Concerning Judges Guild, Further Developments

Today Robert Bledsaw II posted a message on the Judges Guild Game Company group on facebook. Below are the links where you can read it for yourself:

A Private Message from Bob II

The tone, tenor, and many of the elements of his message mirrored the conversation I had with him on Sunday, February 8th. That conversation in conjunction with the posts I found was crucial to my decision to cease doing business with Judges Guild under Robert Bledsaw II.

My response to his message.

I still will not do any future business with Judges Guild. The moment that the royalties since the waiver equal to what is due from the work I did for the CSIO kickstarter, all Judges Guild products will delisted from Bat in the Attic Games. The two Judges Guild licensed products with my original IP will have their Judges Guild content removed and reissued in a new edition.

What happens next?

"owned Slaves, sold to us by Jewish Slave Merchants"

Claiming it was Jewish Slaver Merchants, even if it were true which seems unlikely, the fact that he felt the need to mention it is pretty telling.

I await with bated breath, credit card in-hand. :)

Fuck this guy. What an absolute batshit crazy nutjob. Did you happen to catch his defense in the comments? He claims he can't be racist because he was invited to join the KKK in 1989, but declined...

He just can't stop running his mouth exposing his anti-semitism. He's just one of those nuts who ignores facts that don't support his deluded fantasies. Good riddance to him.

The archive.org link doesn't show anything, just a Facebook login prompt

I had trouble viewing it at first because it was jittery and re-loading constantly.
Anyway, Tenkar has the post on his site now.

I fixed the link so it points at Tenkar's post. Try to use archive.org didn't work out.

It's frustrating that he cannot see how racist his apology was. Whey you start a sentence by saying, "I have a lot of X friends", where X is a minority, you are being racist. SMH.

It bothers me that so much justification is based on the history of ancestors.

Every one of us alive today have a unbroken line of mothers, fathers, families, and friends who have cared for us and every one of our family before us back until the beginning of life on this planet some 4 billion years ago.

Proportionally, putting on a pedestal ancestors over 1,000 of 200,000 years of human existence is similar to sad folks at a bar living through their imagination exaggerated stories from high school.

I cannot ague with you decisions about this matter. You must follow your conscience.
I am very sad that the consequence of Bledsaw II’s actions will result in your great maps and revisions being taken of of the market. They are very well done and I feel that they are something that should be available because of their quality and history in the hobby. It is also distressing how this effects JG’s legacy products being available to gamers. Most of us do not want to support Bledsaw II in the future but having the classic JG products no longer available is unfortunate. I can only hope that Bledsaw II will come to the decision to sell the IP after this disaster. However I am concerned that the liabilities outweigh the potential profits at this point.

Thanks for taking a stand on this. You're doing right by your conscience.

Never mind, I just read his response to this. Yeah, he's a full-blown anti-Semite. Still, I don't really like this "cancel culture" mentality.

Thank you for taking a stand against this horrific nonsense. So sad to see this, especially following on the heels of the thing with MAR Barker. I wonder what's wrong with people, to see the world this way.
