  2. But is Raise Dead available for characters in this game?

  3. @Desert Scribe, I don't think the default rule set allows it explicitly. However some of the entries in the religion section gives some alternative possibilities. And the Medical Tech section certainly gives more possibility of surviving injury than if the setting set a century ago.

  4. I think combat is too long. Turns feel like they take years!

  5. I looked at the monster listings. Man, what a bunch of weird stuff! Where are all the orcs and dragons and other fantasy staples? No, they just made up a whole bunch of weird new critters.

  7. Bah, it lacks verisimilitude.

  9. Nah, it won't work, it's a kitchen sink.

  10. It's okay, but the 1:1 scale is impractical. How am I supposed to paint a 5' tall statue, much less move it around an enormous grid?

  11. I really like the verisimilitude!

  12. The distinct lack of numbered hexes demonstrates a lack of distinction in the design process; the mish-mash of cultures and religions replicates the worst mistakes of lowly "kitchen sink" settings. Also, "Australia" is plain goofy.

  13. yeah, I get it, it has to have your stock "empire of evil". But why do they have to be such small goofballs as North Korea (why not at least a whole country?), Somalia (pirates totally don't fit the rest of the setting) and Belgium?
