You pay the cost and shipping. In my case it was $2.50 for the cost and about $4.50 shipping media mail. Shipping gets better the more item you have on your order.
This is the same policy as lulu except shipping is more reasonable with RPGNow.
I shall be interested to see how the prices of ordering this in the UK compare.
Lulu has got such a secretive attitude to shipping and I'm pretty sure they charge an excessive price, so that they can steal a larger percentage of the profits from the people creating PoD books for them to retail.
Please forgive a possibly obvious question, but do they make you pay for that proof copy, or is it part of the service?

I cannot wait for the Delving Deeper boxed set copy... and i may just purchase the LuLu version, too!
ReplyDeleteRegarding Lulu, they also use Lightning to print the books.
ReplyDeleteBlackmarsh will be released on RPGNOw, the shipping and costs are much more reasonable than Lulu (at least for a 16 page book)
