Count the hexes between the start point and destination and then fudge by how much it inside the hex (or not in case of straddling).

When I write up this type of map then each section will have a snippet of the overall map to help you locate the region.

In the black and white the hexes are not only distance but a reference to help index the locales in the book.

I am divided on whether to use hex numbers on a map as large scale as the Ghinor Map. Likely if I published this I would add the hex numbers and tweak the locales so they are clearly in a hex. I can get them printed on fairly large poster size so it won't be an issue.Robert Conleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03863009007381185340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5904133056957353312.post-17719614603520702112009-08-17T07:19:37.938-04:002009-08-17T07:19:37.938-04:00Hot map!

How do you determine their location? It seems like there could be disputes about whether you're in Rasilor or not.blobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17844885464613063496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5904133056957353312.post-63772302518407724802009-08-14T19:04:52.311-04:002009-08-14T19:04:52.311-04:00@K Forest - I just can't win ;)
